A graciously restored New England country manor, The Simsbury 1820 House is located in scenic Farmington Valley on the crest of a hill overlooking historic Simsbury. Relax in the charm of the 19th century while enjoying all the amenities the 20th century has to offer. We offer 34 antique appointed guestrooms and with our 6 unique private function rooms, we can accommodate from 2 to 200 people for that very special wedding or meeting. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the meticulously restored inn retains the integrity of its original design while offering accommodations with modern amenities and personal service. It is truly a merger of two distinct time periods, as you will find impressive features such as original leaded glass windows, finely carved woodwork painstakingly restored to its original grandeur, and working fireplaces in the parlor and hearth room. Overnight guests may enjoy sipping a complimentary glass of sherry in our parlor while sitting by the fireplace.
